MTA Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to residents of Minnesota who have a tie to the trucking industry.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who are residents of Minnesota.
  • Applicants must meet at least 2 of the following: 1) working on a degree that will lead to a career in the trucking industry; 2) currently employed in the trucking industry and interested in enhancing their skills or completing their degree; or 2) have an immediate family member working for a member company of the Minnesota Trucking Association (MTA).
  • They may be applying for funding for truck driving school, diesel technician, or general studies with the goal of beginning or continuing work in the trucking industry.
