NACE Detroit Section Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate students from the area of the NACE International Detroit Section who are working on a degree in science or engineering as related to corrosion and corrosion control.

Requirements
  • This program is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled or accepted full-time in a science or engineering program related to corrosion and corrosion control at a 2- or 4-year college or university.
  • Applicants must reside or attend college within the geographic boundaries of the NACE International Detroit Section (Michigan and northwestern Ohio).
  • They must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic record, personal and/or professional activities, past/current/future work plans, a letter of reference from an educator or employer, and a letter of reference from a NACE Detroit Section member.
