Requirements

This program is open to North Carolina residents who are either adult members of the American Legion Auxiliary or high school seniors (with preference given to the children and grandchildren of members).

Applicants must be interested in attending college in any state.

They must be able to demonstrate at least 50 hours of community service.

Selection is based on academics (40%), character (15%), Americanism (15%), leadership (15%), and financial need (15%).
