The Nathaniel Ellis Cannady, Jr. Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from designated counties in North Carolina. Students seeking an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, project management, or information technology are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students with demonstrated financial need.

Resident of Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Rutherford, or Yancey counties, North Carolina

Attending school in Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Rutherford, or Yancey counties, North Carolina, or a senior from those counties attending the NC School of Science and Mathematics

High school senior

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree fulltime

Studying in engineering, construction, project management, or information technology

Exhibit good moral character Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need.
