Requirements
  • This program is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students working full-time on a degree in a field related to plating and surface finishing technologies (e.g., chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science or engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering).
  • The minimum GPA is 3.0 for undergraduates or 3.3 for graduate students.
  • Applicants must submit a 2page statement describing their career objectives, intended plans for study in plating and surface finishing technologies, and long-range goals.
  • Selection is based on that statement, academic record, extracurricular activities, and work experience.
  • Financial need is not considered.
