Requirements
  • This program is open to individuals wishing to attend an EMS school or program to become certified as an emergency medical responder (EMR) or emergency medical technician (EMT).
  • Applicants must submit a 1,000word essay explaining why they are seeking an educational scholarship, their educational and employment goals, and how the scholarship would be of benefit.
  • Following completion of their EMS educational program, they must seek certification by testing.
  • Selection is based on the commitment to entering the EMS profession, ability to serve as a positive ambassador to the EMS profession, dedication to the community, and financial need.
