The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Great Lakes Bay Region Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who either reside in the Great Lakes Bay Region in Michigan or whose parent or legal guardian is a NAIFA-GLB (formerly SIAFA) member. Students planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university in Michigan are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • A resident of the Great Lakes Bay region; **OR**
  • Child of a member or legal guardian of NAIFAGLB (formerly SIAFA) member
  • High school senior
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree fulltime
  • Planning to attend school in Michigan
  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities Preference is given to applicants whose parents or legal guardians are NAIFAGLB members. Additional consideration will also be provided for applicants whose parents or legal guardians are employed in the insurance industry, as well as applicants whose parents or legal guardians are deceased or permanently disabled.
