The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Great Lakes Bay Region Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who either reside in the Great Lakes Bay Region in Michigan or whose parent or legal guardian is a NAIFA-GLB (formerly SIAFA) member. Students planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university in Michigan are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • A resident of the Great Lakes Bay region, **OR**
  • Child of a member or legal guardian of NAIFAGLB (formerly SIAFA) member
  • High school senior
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Planning to attend school in Michigan
  • Participation in community service or extracurricular activities Bonus points will be awarded if the student's parent is: (a) a SAIFA member; (b) employed in the insurance industry or (c) permanently disabled or deceased.
