National Athletic Trainers' Association District 7 Gary Delforge Scholarship provides financial aid to student members of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) in its District 7 working on an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Requirements

This program is open to members of the association who are sponsored by a NATA-certified athletic trainer, have a GPA of 3.2 or higher, and intend to pursue athletic training as a profession.

Applicants must be enrolled in a professional (junior, senior, or master's degree) or postprofessional (master's, doctoral, or professional degree) program and have at least 1 academic year remaining.

They must be enrolled at a school in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming (District 7).

Selection is based on that essay; athletic training experience; participation in activities, clubs, and associations related to their academic program and athletic training; and participation in activities, clubs, community organizations, and civic service not related to athletic training.

Financial need is not considered.
