Requirements
  • This program is open to legally blind residents of Missouri who are attending or planning to attend a college, university, or other postsecondary institution in the state.
  • Applicants must submit a 1,000word essay that introduces themselves, including how they live successfully as blind person and their personal goals for the future.
  • Selection is based on that essay, 2 letters of recommendation, transcripts, and an interview with the president of their local chapter or a member of the scholarship committee.
