The National Junior Merit Scholarship recognizes and rewards members of the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) who demonstrate outstanding enthusiasm, leadership, and achievement in the Hereford industry.

Requirements
  • Member of the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA).
  • High school seniors or already in college.
  • 22 yearsold maximum by January 1st the year of application.
  • Planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college, university, technical, or trade school in any state.
  • Seeking an undergraduate degree. Before they can receive an award, they must have completed at least 1 semester of college with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
