Requirements
  • This program is open to juniors, seniors, and graduate students working on a degree in wildlife and fisheries biology, botany, ecology, range conservation, forestry, or wildlife law enforcement.
  • Applicants should have a history of experiences, activities, and interests in the field of biology; college course work applicable to field biology; and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Preference is given to activeduty or honorably discharged military service members; NMFWA members and their dependent children; and applicants who are currently working or have worked on Department of Defense lands.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
