The National Military Fish and Wildlife Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students studying wildlife and fisheries biology, botany, ecology, range conservation, forestry, and/or wildlife law enforcement. Preference is given to active duty or honorably discharged military service members, members of NMFWA, or relatives of NMFWA members, and applicants who are currently working or have worked on Department of Defense lands. Preference will also be given to students with a history of experience, activities, and interests in biology; college coursework applicable to biology; and an approved GPA.

Requirements
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • College sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree
  • Studying in wildlife and fisheries biology, botany, ecology, range conservation, forestry, and/or wildlife law enforcement
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to active duty or honorably discharged military service members, members of NMFWA, or relatives of NMFWA members, and applicants who are currently working or have worked on Department of Defense lands. Preference will also be given to students with a history of experiences, activities, and interests in the field of biology; college course work applicable to the field of biology; and a 3.0 grade point average.
