Requirements

Eligible to apply for these scholarships are graduating high school seniors who have been accepted at a college with a Navy ROTC unit on campus or a college with a cross-enrollment agreement with such a college.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens between the ages of 17 and 23 who plan to study nursing in college and are willing to serve for 4 years as activeduty Navy officers in the Navy Nurse Corps following graduation from college.

They must not have reached their 27th birthday by the time of college graduation and commissioning; applicants who have prior activeduty military service may be eligible for age adjustments for the amount of time equal to their prior service, up to a maximum of 36 months.

They must have a minimum SAT scores of 550 in critical reading and 540 in mathematics with a combined score of 1150 or higher or minimum ACT scores of 22 in English and 21 in mathematics and a combined score of 47 or higher.
