The New England Amateur Radio Festival (NEAR-Fest) Memorial Scholarship is available to licensed radio amateurs who are residents of the New England state. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in radio communications are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students who have held an amateur radio license for a minimum of one year prior to the date of application in the following order: 1. extra class, 2. general class, and 3. technician class.

  • Resident of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont
  • Undergraduate student
