New Hampshire Higher Education Scholarship for Orphans of Veterans provides financial assistance for college in the state to the children of New Hampshire veterans who died of service-connected causes.

Requirements

This program is open to New Hampshire residents between 16 and 25 years of age whose parent(s) died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related disability incurred during World War II, the Korean Conflict, the southeast Asian Conflict (Vietnam), or the Gulf Wars.

Parents must have been residents of New Hampshire at the time of death.

Applicants must be enrolled at least halftime as undergraduate students at a public college or university in New Hampshire.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
