Requirements
  • This program is open to children of military personnel who were either killed in action or died from a disease or disability resulting from military service.
  • The applicant must have been a resident of New Jersey for at least 1 year immediately preceding the date of application and be between 16 and 21 years of age.
  • The veteran parent must have been a state resident.
  • Recipients must attend an educational, technical, or professional postsecondary institution within New Jersey. In special circumstances, the department may approve attendance at a school outside of the state.
