New Mexico National Guard Tuition Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the New Mexico National Guard who are working on an undergraduate degree at a school in the state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of the New Mexico National Guard who are working on their first degree at the undergraduate or vocational school level.
  • Applicants must have completed Basic Training or be a member of the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP).
  • They must be attending a statesupported school in New Mexico.
  • Awards are presented in the following priority order: 1) enlisted members with fewer than 60 semester credit hours (SCHs) and no scholarship and/or GI Bill benefits or contracted members of the SMP; 2) enlisted members with fewer than 150 SCHs and no scholarship or GI Bill benefits; 3) officers under 150 SCHs and no scholarship or GI Bill benefits; 4) enlisted members with additional scholarships and/or GI Bill benefits; 5) officers with additional scholarships and/or GI Bill benefits, and 6) any other eligible member.
