New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs/New York State Showpeople's Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to New York residents interested in attending college in any state, especially those majoring in fields related to agricultural fairs.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of New York who are high school seniors or students enrolled at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be or have been active in a fair that is a member of the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs (NYSAAF) of the New York State Showpeople's Association (NYSSA).
  • They must be working on or planning to work on a degree in any field, but special consideration is given to those working on a degree related to agriculture, fair management, or the outdoor amusement business.
  • Selection is based on the essay (15%); academic achievement (10%); citizenship and leadership (25%); fair participation (30%); the relationship of the field of study to agriculture, fair management, or the outdoor amusement business (5%), and presentation of the application (15%).
