About the Scholarship

The NEXT for AUTISM Fellows Scholarship is available to graduating seniors, graduates, and first-year college students who are pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in the human services field. Students who are currently working or are planning to work as a direct service provider for adults with autism and/or an intellectual disability are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to those committed to serving the autism population after graduation.

Requirements
  • Residing in the United States
  • Graduating high school senior, graduate, or college freshman
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Studying for a degree in a human services field including education, nursing, prehealth professions, psychology, or social work
  • Full or parttime student
  • Exhibit leadership through extracurricular activities or community service
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Employed or seeking employment as a direct service professional for adults with autism and/or intellectual disability Preference is given to those committed to serving the autism population after graduation.
