About the Scholarship

The Nexteer Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who reside in Bay, Midland, or Saginaw counties, or the surrounding Great Lakes Bay Region in Michigan. Students planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering or business at a university in Michigan are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to Nexteer team members or their immediate family members (children, grandchildren, stepchildren).

  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, or Saginaw counties, Michigan
  • High school senior
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree fulltime
  • Studying engineering or business (including global supply management, purchasing, and logistics)
  • Planning to attend school in Michigan
  • Exhibit leadership through community service
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to Nexteer team members or their immediate family members (children, grandchildren, stepchildren).
