Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Mississippi who are graduating seniors at high schools in the state.
  • Applicants must have been accepted for enrollment at a public 2 or 4-year college or university in the state.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher after 7 semesters of high school and minimum scores of 20 on the ACT or 940 on the SAT. Along with their application, they must submit a 200word essay on the topic, "How do my plans for the future and my college major support the automotive industry in Mississippi?" Selection is based on the essay (15%); academic achievement (50%); extracurricular activities, work, leadership, and community involvement (15%); and demonstrated financial need (20%).
