Requirements
  • This program is open to students who are members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
  • Applicants may be residents of any state preparing for a career as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant at a school in any state, but they must agree to practice in North Carolina for at least 1 year following graduation.
  • They may be from any state, but they must demonstrate an interest in practicing in North Carolina following graduation.
  • Finalists are invited to an interview at the conference of the sponsor.
  • Selection is based on presentation during the interview; academic achievement; community service; professional involvement at the school, district, and/or state level; and financial need.
