Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in North Carolina who participated in varsity high school softball during their senior year and varsity or junior varsity as a junior.
  • Applicants must be planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college or university in any state.
  • They must submit their application to their high school's head softball coach; each school may nominate 1 student for this scholarship.
  • In their application, students must explain why they feel they are a good candidate for this scholarship, including biographical information and something about their high school, softball, and life experience, expectations for their college career, and why they feel they deserve this scholarship.
