Northwest Athletic Trainers' Association Professional Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) in its District 10 who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of NATA and the Northwest Athletic Trainers' Association (NWATA) which serves as the organization for District 10 (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington).
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a CAATEaccredited program in athletic training at the professional entry-level (junior, senior, or master's degree).
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and at least 1 year remaining in their program.
  • An athletic trainer who is a current member of NATA and NWATA must sponsor them.
  • Selection is based on that essay; athletic training experience; participation in activities, clubs, and associations related to their academic program and athletic training; and participation in activities, clubs, community organizations, and civic service not related to athletic training.
  • Financial need is not considered.
