NOSDC High School Senior Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are the children of naval personnel and veterans in the Naval District of Washington and plan to attend college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to dependent children of active-duty, retired, or deceased U.S. Navy personnel who 1) reside within the boundaries of Naval District Washington; 2) currently serve in command in Naval District Washington; or 3) have, if retired or deceased, previously served in command in Naval District Washington.
  • Applicants must be high school seniors at an accredited high school in Naval District Washington, U.S. citizens, holders of a valid military dependent identification card, and planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited 2- or 4-year undergraduate college or university, visual or performing arts school, or vocational/technical school in any state.
  • Selection is based on that essay, GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, and school and community involvement; financial need is not considered.
