NRCSA Scholarship provides financial assistance to seniors at high schools in Nebraska that are members of the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association (NRCSA) who plan to attend college in the state and work on a degree in the field of education.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools that are NRCSA members.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and either a composite ACT score of 22 or higher or a combined SAT mathematics and critical reading score of 1030 or higher.
  • They must be planning to attend a college or university in Nebraska and prepare for a career as a teacher, media specialist, counselor, or other position related to education.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, level of involvement in activities, student goals, leadership, character, initiative, school and community involvement, quality and neatness of the application, and financial need.
