NSHSRA Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) and the Nevada State High School Rodeo Association (NSHSRA) who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors who are members of both NHSRA and NSHSRA. Applicants must have completed at least 5 qualifying NSHSRA rodeos during the current season and be entered and compete in the NSHRSA State Finals Rodeo.
  • They must be planning to attend a college or university in any state.
  • Selection is based on that essay (10%), GPA and ACT/SAT scores (30%), participation in leadership roles and activities at the high school rodeos (30%), school and community volunteer activities (15%), letters of recommendation (10%), and neatness, completeness, and legibility of the application (5%).
