NSHSS Film and Video Production Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with college scholarships, high school seniors who are affiliated with the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) and submit outstanding videos.

Requirements
  • This competition is open to high school seniors who are affiliated with NSHSS. Applicants must produce a film, up to 5 minutes in length, in which they provide an artistic representation of themselves or their worldview.
  • They must also provide a brief statement describing the work submitted, what inspired it, how it was created, and the intent.
  • Entries may be scripted film narrative, animation, documentary, or music video/musical/dance performance.
  • Films must be uploaded as videos to YouTube.
  • Selection is based on expression of a clear theme, quality of the storyline and script, creativity and/or content originality, production quality, and editing.
