The Nursing Education Scholarship Program is available to residents of Illinois who are enrolled in or accepted for admission to a nursing program within that state. Students who are pursuing a certificate, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in nursing are eligible to apply. Recipients agree to the nurse employment or nurse educator employment obligation after graduation.

  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or conditional permanent resident
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Agree to the nurse employment or nurse educator employment obligation
  • Not be in default on other educational loans and/or scholarships received from state or federal funds
