Requirements
  • This program is open to U.S. citizens from any state who are entering their junior, senior, or fifth undergraduate year at a college or university in Ohio.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate interest in a career in the Ohio industrial minerals industry.
  • They must be working on a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction materials, or a related field.
  • Graduate students at universities in Ohio whose major focus of study is related to construction materials with an emphasis on mining are also eligible.
  • In the selection process, outstanding academic ability is not required, but students must be in good academic standing with their university; financial need is not required, but students may indicate if they require financial assistance; extracurricular and philanthropic activities are considered.
