Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors and current students at colleges and universities in any state who are OHHA members of the family of members.
  • Applicants must come from a family involved in the harness racing industry.
  • Graduate students are eligible if they are working on a degree directly related to harnessing racing.
  • All applicants must submit essays on 1) their present and future educational goals and why they believe they are deserving of this scholarship; and 2) the extent that they and/or other members of their family are involved in the harness racing industry.
  • Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
