Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Ohio who are members of a minority group and interested in enrolling full or part-time at a college in any state to prepare for a career as a nurse.
  • Applicants must be attending or have attended a high school in the state.
  • If still in high school, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the end of their junior year.
  • If out of high school, they may not have had a break of more than 2 years between high school and enrollment in a nursing program.
  • Selection is based on that personal statement, high school or college academic records, school activities, and community services.
