Oklahoma NAHRO Scholarship For Children Of Staff provides financial assistance to high school seniors and students enrolled at a college in any state whose parent works on the staff of member agencies of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO).

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Oklahoma who are graduating high school seniors or students enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university, or vocational training school in any state.
  • Applicants must be children of staff members at agencies that administer public housing or Section 8 housing programs or that are qualified Community Development Agencies.
  • They must be nominated by a member of the Oklahoma NAHRO chapter.
  • Their GPA through the first semester of their senior year of high school or for the previous semester in college must be 2.5 or higher.
  • Selection is based on that essay, information in the application, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and community involvement.
