Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of any state enrolling as juniors, seniors, or graduate students at colleges and universities in Oregon.
  • Applicants must be preparing for a career related to the construction materials industry.
  • Eligible areas of study include, but are not limited to, architecture, biology, construction materials, engineering, environmental law, fish and wildlife studies, geology, or land use planning.
  • They must submit an essay of 300 to 500 words on their career plan and how it relates to the construction materials industry.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, and unusual personal or family circumstances.
  • Financial need is not considered.
