The Part-Time Grant Program is available to residents of Massachusetts who plan to attend a postsecondary institution on a part-time basis. Students studying for a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree at an eligible institution in Massachusetts are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.

Requirements
  • Resident of Massachusetts
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Planning to attend an eligible postsecondary institution in Massachusetts as a parttime student
  • U.S. citizen or noncitizen eligible under Title IV regulations
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Compliant with Selective Service Registration
  • Not be in default of any federal or state Student Loans for attendance at any institution or owe a refund for any previous financial aid received
  • Not have received a prior bachelor’s degree or professional degree or their equivalent
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
