The Patel Family Scholarship offers one-time awards to graduating seniors who have participated in the Redlands Community College TRIO Upward Bound program. Special consideration is given to the applicant’s leadership and character, academic achievement, as well as the applicant’s potential to succeed in post-secondary studies.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Graduating high school senior who has been active at the Redlands Community College TRIO Upward Bound program (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years)
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in the U.S.
  • Minimum 80% program attendance during both academic year and summer component Preference is given to the applicant’s leadership and character, academic achievement, as well as the applicant’s potential to succeed in postsecondary studies.
