The Patricia and Hussein Elsaid Environmental Sustainability Scholarship is an opportunity for juniors, seniors, and graduate students attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Those studying geography and environmental resources with a concentration in sustainability are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to applicants who have demonstrated a commitment to environmental sustainability, such as work or volunteerism in on-campus sustainability efforts and/or participation in a sustainability-registered student organization.

Studying geography and environmental resources with a concentration in sustainability Preference is given to students with demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability through oncampus sustainability work/volunteerism and/or participation in a sustainability-related registered student organization.
