Patriot Scholarship of the University Interscholastic League provides financial assistance to high school seniors who participate in programs of the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation (TILF), are children of veterans, and plan to attend college in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Texas who have competed in a University Interscholastic League (UIL) academic state meet (participation in athletic or music contests does not qualify).

Applicants must be the child of a veteran, rank in the top 25% of their class, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

They must be planning to enroll fulltime at a college or university in the state and major in any field.

Preference is given to children of injured veterans.
