The Paul Tsongas Scholarship is available to residents of Massachusetts. Students planning to attend one of the nine eligible Massachusetts state universities are welcome to apply. Recipients are chosen for their strong academic standing and achievement.

Requirements

Minimum 3.75 GPA

Minimum SAT composite score of 1200, or an ACT equivalent score

Resident of Massachusetts for at least one year prior to the opening of the academic year

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Planning to attend Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University, Framingham State University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Salem State University, Westfield State University, or Worcester State University

U.S. citizen or noncitizen eligible under Title IV regulations

Not be in default of any federal or state Student Loans for attendance at any institution or owe a refund for any previous financial aid received
