Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors who are Pennsylvania DECA members currently enrolled in marketing education.
  • Applicants must submit an official DECA notebook that documents the activities on which they are judged.
  • They must submit a 200word personal statement on why they deserve a scholarship from Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association, another personal statement on how business education and DECA have assisted them in selecting their career objective, a portfolio of their DECA activities, information on their participation in other school and/or community activities, transcripts (with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and their SAT scores), letters of recommendation, and information on their employment experience.
