Pennsylvania Equine Council Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Pennsylvania Equine Council (PEC) who are committed to future involvement in the equine industry and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to current individuals and family members of the PEC who have been accepted at a college, university, community college, vocational school, or other institution of higher learning in any state.

Applicants may major in any academic program, but they must be active participants in the equine industry and committed to future involvement in that industry.

Selection is based on that statement (20%), participation in youth leadership programs (20%), participation in PEC activities (15%), participation in other equine activities or organizations (15%), participation in community service (15%), letters of reference (10%), and neatness and completeness of application (5%).
