The Peter J. Economos Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to Greek-American residents of specified midwestern states attending or planning to attend a post-secondary institution. Students who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply.

  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Greek ancestry
  • A current or former participant in the Junior Olympics, **OR**
  • Member, or child of a member, in District 13 (Illinois and Wisconsin) AHEPA family (Order of Ahepa, Daughters of Penelope, Sons of Pericles, or Maids of Athena); **OR**
  • Member or child of a member of a Greek Orthodox parish within the Metropolis of Chicago (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin)
  • Demonstrate financial need
