The Peter J. Economos Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to Greek-American residents of specified midwestern states who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • Greek American student.
  • High school senior or college undergraduate.
  • Enrolled or planning to enroll at a college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.
  • Applicants must be 1) a current or former participant in the Junior Olympics; or 2) a member, or child of a member, in District 13 (Illinois and Wisconsin) of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association family (Order of Ahepa, Daughters of Penelope, Sons of Pericles, or Maids of Athena); or 3) a member or child of a member of a Greek Orthodox parish within the Metropolis of Chicago (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin).
