PFIA Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to descendants of members of the Police and Firemen's Insurance Association (PFIA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to the dependent children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of members of the association.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as fulltime undergraduates at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.
  • The member must have a PFIA insurance policy in effect by October of the year prior to the scholarship application and the student must have a policy in effect by the end of April.
  • Selection is based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in activities, work experience, a statement of future goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal.
