The PFLAG Dayton LGBTQ and Ally Scholarship is open to graduates of high schools in the Miami Valley of Ohio who are seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree. Students who foster a positive image of the LGBTQ+ community by active involvement in a campus or community LGBGTQ+ or related organization are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a high school in the Miami Valley region of Ohio (Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Shelby counties)
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Participate in extracurricular or community service related to LGBTQ+, AIDS/HIV, or related organization **or**
  • Advocate for LGBTQ+
  • Aged 17 or older
  • Demonstrate leadership, integrity, and honesty
