Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association Scholarship provides funding to licensed radio amateurs, especially those with ties to Colorado, who are interested in working on a bachelor's degree in designated technical fields.

Requirements

This program is open to licensed radio amateurs; preference is given to residents of Colorado or those attending college in that state.

Applicants must be interested in working fulltime on a bachelor's degree in computer technology, engineering, mathematics, or the physical sciences.

They must submit essays on their motivation to become a ham and interests in the hobby; ham radio activities and accomplishments; ham radio contacts and operating modes; interests and hobbies outside of ham radio; ham radio club memberships; ham radio club participation (offices held, appointed positions); and any special issues that affect their application and that they would like the sponsor to take into consideration.

U.S. citizenship is required.
