The Porgy & Bess Music Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students majoring in music or music education. African American students who have resided in Berkeley, Charleston, or Dorchester counties of South Carolina for at least 5 years are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to first-generation college students and those with demonstrated financial need.
