The Poshard Foundation Scholarship is an opportunity for students attending Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Those who graduated or are attending an approved list of community colleges in Illinois and demonstrate financial need are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students who are prior recipients of the Poshard Foundation Scholarship, used as a tie-breaker if candidates are otherwise equally qualified.

  • Graduated from or attending Frontier Community College, John A. Logan College, Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, Rend Lake College, Shawnee Community College, Southeastern Illinois College, or Wabash Valley College
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference will be given to students who are prior recipients of the Poshard Foundation Scholarship, used as a tiebreaker if candidates are otherwise equally qualified.
