The Pride Foundation Community Scholarships are available to LGBTQ+ students from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. Students who show leadership potential on LGBTQ+ issues should apply. Special consideration is given to LGBTQ+, minority, transgender, LGBTQ+ immigrant, LGBTQ+ youth aging out of foster care, and students who have experienced homelessness, poverty, or isolation due to geography.

Requirements
  • Resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington for a minimum of three months prior to the application deadline or lived within the state for at least one out of the five prior years
  • High school senior, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, medical, or law student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, graduate, law, medical degree, or Ph.D.
  • LGTBQ+
  • Proven leadership potential in the LGBTQ+ community or field of study
  • Lack of a broader LGBTQ+ community support system
  • Encountered additional barriers to education, including economic, racial, social, geographical, or being politically disenfranchised
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to LGBTQ+, historically underserved, transgender, LGBTQ+ immigrant, LGBTQ+ youth aging out of foster care, and students who have experienced homelessness, poverty, or isolation due to geography.
