Project 21 Missouri Scholarship recognizes and rewards, with scholarships for college in any state, high school seniors in Missouri who submit outstanding articles, posters, or videos on the topic of underage gambling.

Requirements
  • This competition is open to seniors at high schools in Missouri who plan to attend a college, university, or vocational/technical school in the United States.
  • Applicants must submit 1) an article published in the newspaper, magazine, or other publication of their school; 2) a poster displayed in a public area of their school, or 3) a video of 1 to 5 minutes in length that has been viewed in a school forum or meeting.
  • Entries must have been published or displayed from December through midFebruary of the year.
  • They must attempt to inform the general public that the legal age for casino gaming in Missouri is 21 and to deter underage gambling.
  • Winners are selected on the basis of originality, content, style, and educational value.
