The Public Safety Memorial Grant is available to dependent children of a Georgia Public Safety Officer or Georgia Public School Employee who was permanently disabled or killed in the line of duty. Residents of Georgia who are pursuing a professional certification, associate's, or bachelor's degree at a postsecondary institution in Georgia are welcome to apply.

  • Spouse or child of a Georgia Public Safety Officer who was permanently disabled or killed in duty, or a Georgia Public School Employee killed or permanently disabled due to an Act of Violence
  • Resident of Georgia
  • Attend a college or university in Georgia
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident
  • Comply with Selective Service registration requirements and the Georgia DrugFree Postsecondary Education Act of 1990
