Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in North Carolina and planning to enroll at a 4-year college or university or a community college in any state to prepare for a career in agriculture or an agriculturally-related field.
  • Applicants must demonstrate satisfactory grades, an understanding of the agricultural and/or agribusiness community, leadership potential, and financial need.
  • They must obtain an application from their county Farm Bureau office, which conducts an initial screening and submits 1 application per county to the state office.
  • Preference is given to North Carolina Farm Bureau members and their families.
